Modes Explained

Your terminal can be configured to operate in different modes depending on the accessories fitted, the software loaded and the settings applied in Cloud EFTPOS.

With standalone mode, you can choose to process payments on your terminal without initiating the sale in separate Point of Sale (POS) system.

Alternatively, integrated mode allows a integrated software vendor (ie. POS) to send the transaction amount to the payment terminal.

Integrated with standalone failover

Your terminal also supports an innovative feature, integrated with standalone failover. In the event of POS failure, you can switch your terminal operating mode from integrated to standalone so you can continue to transact.
