First steps

If you've just received your first QT850 terminal, this is a great place to start!

First you'll need to know if your terminal will operate in standlone or integrated mode - see here for instructions on how to determine your mode.

Standalone terminal

Follow these steps to setup your new standalone terminal:

  1. Unpack the terminal and dock and familiarise yourself with it.
  2. Pay particular care to the Cautions, Care and Storage instructions.
  3. Setup the dock and place the terminal on dock to charge.
  4. Insert the Printer Roll.
  5. Turn on the terminal.
  6. Connect your terminal to your WiFi Network.
  7. Familiarise yourself with how to use the standoalone terminal section.

Integrated terminal - wireless

In order to setup your new Integrated wireless terminal you will need to follow the steps below:

  1. Unpack the terminal and dock and familiarise yourself with it.
  2. Pay particular care to the Cautions, Care and Storage instructions.
  3. Setup the dock and place terminal on dock to charge.
  4. Turn on the terminal.
  5. Connect your terminal to your WiFi Network.
  6. Familiarise yourself with the how to use the integrated terminal section.
  7. If you ordered your terminal to work with your integrated software solution (POS), the terminal will need to be configured within your software. Contact your software provider for further information and instructions.

Integrated terminal - corded

In order to setup your new Integrated wireless terminal you will need to follow the steps below:

  1. Unpack the terminal and dock and familiarise yourself with it.
  2. Pay particular care to the Cautions, Care and Storage instructions.
  3. Turn on the terminal.
  4. Connect your terminal to your WiFi Network.
  5. Familiarise yourself with the how to use the integrated terminal section.
  6. Connect your terminal to your PC and install the Cloud EFTPOS Desktop software.
  7. If you ordered your terminal to work with your integrated software solution (POS), the terminal will need to be configured within your software. Contact your software provider for further information and instructions.
